Ingredients For stuffed pepper soup

1/2 lbground beef, browned and drained

1 cantomato soup (10.75 oz.)

1 canpetite diced tomatoes (14.5 oz.)

4 ozmushrooms, chopped

1 1/4 cchopped green pepper

1/2 cchopped onion
-
2 Tbspbrown sugar
-
2 cbeef bouillon or broth
-
1/4 tspgarlic powder
-
1/8 tspblack pepper
-
1 ccooked rice
How To Make stuffed pepper soup

1While browning the ground beef, brown the mushrooms in another pan to remove some of their liquid.

2In a slow cooker, combine all ingredients except the rice.

3Cook on low for 4 to 6 hours or until the peppers and onions are tender.

4Stir in rice and heat through, appx. 15 minutes

5Notes: You can double the ground beef season appropriately if you prefer a meatier soup. For a cup of rice, cook about a 1/2 cup of rice in 1 cup of water according to package directions.
