This recipe is usually made with hamburger, we wanted to kick it up a notch, adding the hot sausage was a winner!

Ingredients

  • 2 lb
    hot italian sausage
  • 4 large
    green bell peppers
  • 3 can(s)
    progresso chunky tomatoe soup
  • 1 1/4 c
    white rice (uncooked) minute rice okay

How to Make Stuffed Pepper Soup made w/sausage

Step-by-Step

  1. Remove casing from sausage, brown sausage till no longer pink (should be crumbly )
  2. cut bell peppers into bite size pieces
  3. put sausage, cut up bell peppers, and (uncooked) rice into crock-pot add cans of soup.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours- add salt & pepper to taste
  5. Enjoy !
