Southern Turnip Greens Soup

Ingredients

1 lbbag of frozen, chopped turnip greens, with or without turnips

4 cchicken broth

1medium onion, chopped

3smoked pork chopped, diced

1 Tbspapple cider viengar

1 Tbspchipotle sauce (you can use another hot sauce, but the smoky flavor of this one adds a lot to the soup)

1 can(s)field peas with snaps, or black eyed peas

2medium red potatoes, diced
-
·salt and pepper to taste
How to Make Southern Turnip Greens Soup
- Place everything in a soup pot except for the peas and potatoes.
- Bring to a boil, reduce to simmer, and cook for 20 minutes.
- Add the peas and potatoes and cook until the potatoes are done, approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
