This is an old recipe from my grandmother. I tweaked a few things as I was making it one cold, rainy day and wah-lah! A sensational hit! We ate every bit :)

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs - ground chuck
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 2 cups potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup carrots, chopped
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 can green beans
  • 1 can stewed tomatoes
  • - salt and pepper, to taste
  • dash cumin

How To Make slow cooker beef vegetable soup

  • Step 1
    Cook ground beef, onions, and celery until vegetables are soft and beef is browned. Drain.
  • Step 2
    While beef is cooking, add all other ingredients into crockpot while temp is set to high.
  • Step 3
    Add beef,vegetable mixture to crockpot. Reduce to low and cook 8 to 10 hours. Serve with cornbread for optimal finish!
