This is an old recipe from my grandmother. I tweaked a few things as I was making it one cold, rainy day and wah-lah! A sensational hit! We ate every bit :)

Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs
ground chuck
1 c
onion, chopped
1 c
celery, chopped
2 c
potatoes, diced
1 c
carrots, chopped
4 c
beef broth
2 c
chicken broth
2 c
water
1 can(s)
green beans
1 can(s)
stewed tomatoes
salt and pepper, to taste
dash(es)
cumin

How to Make Slow cooker beef vegetable soup

Step-by-Step

  • 1Cook ground beef, onions, and celery until vegetables are soft and beef is browned. Drain.
  • 2While beef is cooking, add all other ingredients into crockpot while temp is set to high.
  • 3Add beef,vegetable mixture to crockpot. Reduce to low and cook 8 to 10 hours. Serve with cornbread for optimal finish!
