This is an old recipe from my grandmother. I tweaked a few things as I was making it one cold, rainy day and wah-lah! A sensational hit! We ate every bit :)

Slow Cooker Crock Pot

  • 1 1/2 lbs
    ground chuck
  • 1 c
    onion, chopped
  • 1 c
    celery, chopped
  • 2 c
    potatoes, diced
  • 1 c
    carrots, chopped
  • 4 c
    beef broth
  • 2 c
    chicken broth
  • 2 c
  • 1 can(s)
    green beans
  • 1 can(s)
    stewed tomatoes
  • ·
    salt and pepper, to taste
  • dash(es)

How to Make Slow cooker beef vegetable soup


  1. Cook ground beef, onions, and celery until vegetables are soft and beef is browned. Drain.
  2. While beef is cooking, add all other ingredients into crockpot while temp is set to high.
  3. Add beef,vegetable mixture to crockpot. Reduce to low and cook 8 to 10 hours. Serve with cornbread for optimal finish!
