Ingredients
- 4 - bacon strips
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 medium carrots, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 jar spaghetti sauce
- 4 cans beef broth
- 16 ounces kidney beans, canned (drained and rinsed)
- 15 ounces garbanzo beans, canned (drained and rinsed)
- 2/3 cup uncooked small shell pasta
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 cup frozen green beans
- - grated parmesan cheese
How To Make shortcut minestrone soup

Step 1Cook bacon till crisp. In drippings cook onion & carrots 3 to 4 minutes till tender. Add garlic.

Step 2Stir in spaghetti sauce, broth and beans. Bring to a boil. Add pasta, brown sugar, basil & oregano. Add green beans. Simmer and cook for a while. Garnish with parmesan cheese.
