Ingredients
- 1 stick butter
- 1 large white onion chopped
- 3or 4 cups fresh pumpkin chunks
- 1 quart light cream or milk
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon sweet basil
- - sprinkle of nutmeg
How To Make pumpkin soup

Step 1Melt butter in Dutch oven. Add all other ingredients and simmer until pumpkin is soft. Run through blender, then pour back into pot to heat the soup. Serve with corn bread and enjoy!
