How To Make potatoe asparagus soup
-
Step 1Put chicken broth, pepper, onions and nutmeg in soup pot on low heat. When the onions are tender add potatoes. cook them slowly in the chicken broth so they will absorb the flavors. When the potatoes are soft, but not falling apart, add cream cheese ( you can cut the cream cheese in half or put the whole thing in to melt)stirring while the cream cheese melts. When melted add the asparagus and cream/milk (whipping cream can be used). When the asparagus is soft it is done. (The potatoes should still be in cubes). Serve with hot bread or just by itself enjoy
