frozen mixed vegetables, thawed

How to Make Potato Vegetable Chowder


  • 1Melt butter in large saucepan over low heat.
  • 2Stir in onion; cook until tender.
  • 3Stir in flour, bouillon, thyme and pepper.
  • 4Cook until mixture is smooth and bubbly.
  • 5Gradually stir in milk and water; cook over medium heat until mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly.
  • 6Add potatoes, ham and vegetables.
  • 7Reduce heat; simmer 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally.
