Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup onion, chopped
- 3 teaspoons instant chicken bouillon
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme leaves, dried
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups potatoes, cooked and cubed
- 1 cup cooked cubed ham
- 1 package frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
How To Make potato vegetable chowder

Step 1Melt butter in large saucepan over low heat.

Step 2Stir in onion; cook until tender.

Step 3Stir in flour, bouillon, thyme and pepper.

Step 4Cook until mixture is smooth and bubbly.

Step 5Gradually stir in milk and water; cook over medium heat until mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly.

Step 6Add potatoes, ham and vegetables.

Step 7Reduce heat; simmer 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally.
