potato soup with smoky links

My mom always makes potato soup on Christmas Eve. I took her recipe and modified it to make it thicker and a little cheesy.

Ingredients
- 6-10 - bacon slices
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 6 cups potatoes, cubed (i use combination of red and yukon gold)
- 2 cups water (i use vegetable or chicken broth)
- 1 can cheddar cheese soup
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 2 cans milk (use soup cans to measure in)
- 1 package beef smoky links (i use hillshire farm)
- 2 tablespoons parsley flakes
- 2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
How To Make potato soup with smoky links

Step 1Saute bacon and onions. Pour off all but 3 tablespoons fat.

Step 2Saute smoky links which have been cut in 1/2 at a diagonal angle, until well done.

Step 3Add potatoes, broth or water, and cook until potatoes are tender - about 15 minutes.

Step 4Add remaining ingredients.

Step 5Heat but DO NOT BOIL!!
