It's mid-March, my thoughts are turning green! As in St. Patrick! This is a great St. Patrick's Day recipe.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 quarts water
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 large potatoes, quartered
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 pound cabbage, shredded
- 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
How To Make potato cabbage soup

Step 1Combine water, salt and onions in a large saucepan. Bring to boil. Add potatoes. Cook until tender.

Step 2Remove and mash potatoes. Return to pot.

Step 3Add cabbage and butter. Simmer an additional 20 to 30 minutes.
