Ingredients
- 8 slices bacon - chopped
- 1 cup onion - medium chop
- 3 cups potaoes, diced (i like ukon gold)
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 3/4 cups milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- OPTIONAL: SHREDDED CHEDDAR CHEESE & DICED TOMATOES
How To Make potato bacon chowder

Step 11)Fry bacon until crisp in a large heavy pot. Add onion & saute 2 - 3 minutes.

Step 22) Pour off fat; Add water and potatoes. Bring to a boil; cover & simmer 10-15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.

Step 33) Stir in canned soup, sour cream and milk. Add salt and pepper. Heat to serving temperature.

Step 44) Serve with the optional shredded cheese and tomatoes sprinkled on top.
