This is a super easy wonton soup that is in the style of a Vietnamese Pho

Ingredients

  • 6 cups chicken, beef or vegetable stock
  • 2 tablespoons ginger grated
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 bunch green onions divided into green and white parts
  • 1/2 teaspoon chinese five spice powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 1 package frozen mini wontons or pot stickers
  • 1 bag mann's organic broccoli slaw mix
  • 1 cup fresh bean sprouts
  • 2 small jalapenos seeded and diced
  • 1 tablespoon each soy sauce and fish sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup cilantro chopped

How To Make photon soup

  • Step 1
    Add the stock to a large stock pan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and add ginger, garlic, and green parts of the green onions. Stir in the Chinese 5 spice and pepper.
  • Step 2
    Add the frozen wontons or pot stickers. Cook until they start to float. Add the remaining ingredients except for cilantro and the green parts of the scallions.
  • Step 3
    Cook 2 minutes. Garnish with the cilantro and green onions.
