This is the easiest soup I have ever made. I made this soup and my kids ate it up. My niece and nephew even love it. when I make it , I take the leftovers(if there are any) to work with me and they are even better than the day before.

Ingredients

dries split peas

carrot

onion

cloves of garlic
1 can(s)
chicken stock

smoked hamhock
salt and pepper to taste
water

How to Make Pea Soup

Step-by-Step

  • 1finely dice all the vegetables, garlic add to the crockpot and add the bag of split peas
  • 2add the ham hock chicken stock and enough water to cover the peas
  • 3salt and pepper to taste. Cover it and Let it simmer til all the vegetables are melted away.
  • 4I put it all in the crockpot before I got to work and let it go on low all day. Man the house smells good when I get home.
