Ingredients
- 2 packages frozen broccoli florettes
- 2 cans ragu cheese
- 9 3/4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 2 teaspoons salt and pepper
- 3 pinches garlic salt
- 4-6 large potatoes
- - chopped chicken or turkey (optional)
How To Make mom's cheese and broccoli soup

Step 1In a large crock pot set to "high" combine broth, cream of chicken, and spices.

Step 2Peel and chop potatoes into bite sized pieces. Add them to the broth in the crock pot. Let simmer for 15-20 minutes.

Step 3Add the broccoli florettes and continue to let simmer for 5-7 minutes.

Step 4When the soup is hot and the potatoes have become decently soft, turn the crock pot down to "low" or "warm" and blend in the Ragu cheese. Add chicken or turkey as desired.

Step 5Serve hot in bread bowl or regular soup dish. Enjoy!
