This recipe comes from my mom. When I had my jaw wired, eons ago, I remember she came over and made me some of this soup. I loved it. Sure miss that woman.

Add to Grocery List

2 cups diced potatoes
1/3 cup chopped onion
3 tbsp. butter
1/2 cup water
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 1/2 t. salt
1/8 t. pepper
2 cups milk
1 tbsp. parsley

How to Make Mom Marcon's Potato Soup


  • 1Add onion, potato to melted butter and water. Add salt, pepper, garlic
  • 2Cover and cook slowly until all are very soft. Add milk. Bring to boil. Sieve. Return to pan. Add parsley. Makes 1 quart.
