(14 1/2 oz) each of reduced-sodium beef broths
1 can(s)
(14 1/2 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 c
diced potato
1 c
coarsely chopped green cabbage
1 c
coarsely chopped carrots
1 c
sliced zucchini
1/4 c
chopped onion
3/4 c
sliced fresh green beans
1/4 c
coarsely chopped celery
1/4 c
2 Tbsp
olive oil
1 clove
garlic, minced
1/2 tsp
dried basil leaves
1/4 tsp
dried rosemary
bay leaf
1 can(s)
(15 1/2 oz) cannelini beans, rinsed and drained
grated parmesan cheese (optional)

How to Make Minestrone alla Milanese ~ Slow Cooker


  • 1Combine all ingredients except cannelini beans and cheese in slow cooker, mix well.
  • 2Cover and cook on LOW 5-6 hours

    Add cannelini beans. Cover and cook on LOW 1 hour or until vegetables are crisp tender.
    Remove and discard bay leaf.
    Garnish with cheese, if desired.
