Ingredients
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 pound fresh sliced mushrooms
- 4 cups beef broth, canned
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup heavy cream
- pinch black pepper
How To Make memaw's cream of mushroom soup

Step 1Cook onion in butter until brown. Add mushrooms. Stir until done. Add flour and coat mushrooms. Cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add beef broth. Cook 10 min. DO NOT BOIL. Add cream and spices. Stir and serve.
