I tried this recipoe when we lived in Ohio, and not one for chopping everything small like the original,I heard this recipe from a chef on the Pittsburgh channel.Nice soup for a cold winter night

Ingredients
- 1/2 lb - ground beef or gound turkey
- 1/4c - seasoned bread crumbs
- 1 - egg
- 1 tablespoon parley
- 1 - whole chicken cut up
- 4 c - water or chicken broth
- 1 - small box orzo
- 2 c - spinach cut up
- 1 - bag baby carrots
- 1/4 c - grated romano cheese
- - salt and pepper to taste
- - can use frozen meatballs
How To Make italian wedding soup

Step 1combine the ground beef or turkey,bread crumbs,egg salt and pepper in a bowl. mix well and form into small meatballs

Step 2meanwhile add chicken to water or broth, cover and boil for 5 minutes.add the meat balls and carrots to broth bring to a simmer cook for 1 hour. take out chciken and peel from bone.

Step 3add orzo cook for 5 minutes add spinach ,put peeled chciken back in, stir in cheese and serve immediately
