Ingredients
- MEATBALLS
- 1/2 pound ground beef, pork, chicken, or turkey
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro minced
- 3 tablespoons minced green parts of scallions
- 1 tablespoon ginger grated
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 large egg
- SOUP
- 6 cups chicken stock
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili garlic paste
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup chopped shiitake mushrooms
- 1 large carrot thinly slice
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- - white parts of scallions diced
- - juice of 1 lime
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 large eggs beaten
- - cilantro for garnish
How To Make hot and sour meatball soup

Step 1Mix the ingredients together for meatballs. Roll into balls and set aside. Bring the chicken stock to a boil.

Step 2Add the ginger, garlic, soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, sesame oil, and lime juice. Bring back to a boil. Add the meatballs. Let cook for 5 minutes. Add the mushrooms, scallions, and carrots. Cook 5 more minutes. Add the vinegar. Carefully whisk in the beaten eggs.
