1 16 oz can diced tomatoes
1 small can tomato sauce
1 half med onion or one small one
1 rib celery
1 16 oz can chicken broth
2 tbsp flour
salt and pepper to taste
2 bouillon (chicken) cubes
1/2 cup milk or cream
1 tblsp butter or olive oil

How to Make Homemade tomato soup


  • 1dice finely the celery and onion, saute in some butter or olive oil till done.
  • 2Add in the flour and stir that around for about thirty seconds. Then add the tomatoes, sauce and bullion cubes along with about 1 or 2 cups of water.
  • 3bring it to a boil let cook about 5 to 10 minutes. cream it up with some milk and use a stick blender to smooth it out.
