How To Make hearty smoked sausage soup
-
Step 1Slice smoked sausage into thin slices and add to a stockpot or large saucepan. Chop cabbage, onions and bell pepper and add to the sausage. Add remainer of ingredients. Cook on medium heat until vegetables are tender, about 30 - 40 minutes. You may have to add a bit more water (or a can of low fat chicken broth, if you prefer) if the liquid in the pot cooks down and it's not soupy enough for you.
