  • 2 c
    ham pieces cut up into bite sizes
  • 8 to 10 medium
    potatoes medium, cut up 1/4 size
  • 1 large
    onion ,cut up
  • 1 medium
    bell pepper,cut up
  • 1/2 c
    celery, cut up
  • 1 1/2 c
    baby carrots
  • 2 Tbsp
    red wine vinegar
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 c

How to Make Hearty Potato Soup


  1. In a dutch oven or large pot, combine ham peices, onion, bell pepper, celery, and salt and pepper. Add 4 cups of water. Bring to a boil.
  2. Add potatoes, carrots and red wine vinegar. Cook on medium heat for 15 minutes or until potatoes and carrots are fork tender.
  3. Serve with crackers or cheese toast.
