Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh mushrooms, coarsely chopped
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 - onion, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 clove garlic, mashed
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire
- 2 - carrots, sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard, dry
- 6 cups beef broth
- 1 cup white wine
How To Make fresh mushroom soup, mom

Step 1Saute mushrooms in 1/4 c butter, set aside. Saute onion and garlic in remaining butter. Blend in salt, mustard and flour. Add Worcestershire, celery, carrots and broth. Cook, stirring constantly until slightly thickened. Lower heat, cook covered 20 min. Strain, add wine and mushrooms to strained broth and heat through.
