3 c
beef stock
1 c
dry white wine
1/4 c
dry sherry
1 tsp
worcestershire sauce
minced garlic clove
6 slice
french bread
1/4 c
parmesan cheese

How to Make French Onion Soup (Crock Pot)


  • 1Using a large frying pan, slowly saute the onions in butter until limp and glazed.
  • 2Transfer to crockpot.
  • 3Add beef stock, white wine, sherry, worcestershire and garlic.
  • 4Cover.
  • 5Cook on low (200) 6 to 8 hours.
  • 6Place buttered french bread on a baking sheet.
  • 7Sprinkle with cheese.
  • 8Place under preheated broiler until lightly toasted.
  • 9To serve, ladle soup into bowl.
  • 10Float a slice of toasted french bread on top.
