Ingredients
- 3 large - sliced onion
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1/4-1/2 cup red wine
- 4 cans beef broth (soup)
- 2-1/2 can water
- 3-4 - beef bouillon, cubes
- - toasted french bread
- - mozarella cheese or your choice
- - parmesan cheese
How To Make french onion soup

Step 1Slice onion and put in large pot.

Step 2Spray with butter or add 2 tbsp butter. Saute until onions are soft

Step 3Stir in sugar and flour and mix well.

Step 4Add 4 cans beef soup, 2-1/2 cans of water and bouillon cubes.

Step 5Simmer for 40 minutes.

Step 6Put soup in oven safe bowls, top with toasted bread and cheeses. Broil until cheese is melted and slightly browned.

Step 7Serve with a salad and more bread if desired.
