1 Tbspoil

1 tspsalt

1/4 tspsugar

3 Tbspflour

2 qtbeef stock, boiling

1/2 cdry white wine

1 pkgcroutons

grated parmesan cheese
How To Make french onion soup 2, mom

1Cook onions with butter and oil over low heat in covered 4 quart saucepan for 15 min. Uncover, stir in salt and sugar. Cook 35 min on moderate heat, stirring frequently. Sprinkle with flour, cook 3 min. Remove from heat and blend in beef stock, wine and seasonings. Simmer, partly covered for 35 min. Serve with croutons and chees. Add salt and pepper to taste.
