I was pregnant and hungry for potato soup but couldn't find a recipe that had all the things I wanted so I gathered what I was craving and came up with this, and its a fave of all my friends and family now! Its a great stick to your tummy soup

Ingredients
- 3 large carrots, chopped
- 3 large celery stalks, chopped
- 10 cups water
- - chicken base (to taste)
- - salt and pepper (to taste)
- 1 small white onion
- - minced garlic (to taste)
- 1 pound thick cut bacon, cut into tiny peices
- 5-6 large russet potatoes
- 2 cans cheddar cheese soup
- - sour cream
How To Make everything potato soup

Step 1In a large pot, pan fry carrots, celery, onions, garlic, salt and pepper till vegs are slightly softened.

Step 2Add water and bring to boil.

Step 3Pan fry cut up bacon and add to mixture.

Step 4Add Chicken base to taste.

Step 5Peel and cube potatoes and add to boiling water.

Step 6Let boil till all vegs are soft, and most water is boiled down. (mixture should be thick and starchy looking)

Step 7Reduce heat, add cheddar soup and slowly heat back to almost boiling.

Step 8Serve in bowls with a tablespoon or so of Sour cream!
