Nice Hearty soup, great for those cold fall and winter days!

    onion, chopped
  • 4 medium
    potatoes, diced
  • 1 can(s)
    creamed corn
  • 3 c
    whole kernel corn
  • 4 c
    chicken (or vegetable) broth
  • 1 pkg
    white country gravy mix
  • ·
    salt, to taste
  • ·
    pepper, to taste

How to Make Easy Corn Chowder


  1. in a medium pot, cook bacon until crisp. Remove from pan and crumble. Set aside.
  2. Drain all but 2 tbsp of bacon grease in pan. Add potatoes, onion and bacon into pot and cook for 5 minutes until onions are tender.
  3. Add Broth and corn and simmer about 20 minutes, until potatoes are tender.
  4. Mix gravy powder with 3/4 cup of water and add to soup. season with salt and pepper to taste.
