Nice Hearty soup, great for those cold fall and winter days!

Ingredients

  • 3-5 slices bacon
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • 4 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 can creamed corn
  • 3 cups whole kernel corn
  • 4 cups chicken (or vegetable) broth
  • 1 package white country gravy mix
  • - salt, to taste
  • - pepper, to taste

How To Make easy corn chowder

  • Step 1
    in a medium pot, cook bacon until crisp. Remove from pan and crumble. Set aside.
  • Step 2
    Drain all but 2 tbsp of bacon grease in pan. Add potatoes, onion and bacon into pot and cook for 5 minutes until onions are tender.
  • Step 3
    Add Broth and corn and simmer about 20 minutes, until potatoes are tender.
  • Step 4
    Mix gravy powder with 3/4 cup of water and add to soup. season with salt and pepper to taste.
