easy amazing tomato soup
I made this soup creamy by adding heavy cream, which I think I will leave out next time because I prefer the taste of the soup to that of the cream.

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/3 cup tomato paste
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 28 ounces can crushed tomatoes
- 2 cups chicken stock
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 4 tablespoons heavy cream (optional)
How To Make easy amazing tomato soup

Step 1Place the oil in a pot. Add the garlic and onion and cook until the onion is translucent. Add the oregano and salt.

Step 2Make a well. Add the tomato paste and cook for 5 minutes. Add the wine and let cook until most evaporates.

Step 3Add the crushed tomatoes and chicken stock. Simmer for 15 minutes. Add the honey. Taste and adjust for salt and pepper.

Step 4Transfer to a food processor and process until smooth.

Step 5Pass through a fine mesh strainer pressing the solids. Place back into the pot and add the heavy cream if using. Enjoy
