I have made many different types of soups, however this is the easiest carrot soup I have ever made.

  • 5-6 c
    chopped carrots
  • 1 medium
    chopped onion
  • 1 stalk(s)
    chopped celery
  • 2 dash(es)
    garlic powder
  • 6-8 c
    reduced sodium chicken broth
  • 1/2 c
    half and half
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 2-3 Tbsp

How to Make Easiest Carrot Soup Ever


  1. Heat 1 Tbs butter and 1 Tbs oil in a Dutch oven. Add onion and celery and cook 4 to 6 minutes.
  2. Stir in carrots and sauté for two or three minutes. Add the low sodium chicken broth. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat and simmer for about 25 minutes.
  3. Use immersion blender to purée the soup until smooth. Stir in the optional half-and-half salt and pepper and honey.
