I have made many different types of soups, however this is the easiest carrot soup I have ever made.

Ingredients
- 5-6 cups chopped carrots
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 1 stalk chopped celery
- 2 dashes garlic powder
- 6-8 cups reduced sodium chicken broth
- 1/2 cup half and half
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2-3 tablespoons honey
How To Make easiest carrot soup ever

Step 1Heat 1 Tbs butter and 1 Tbs oil in a Dutch oven. Add onion and celery and cook 4 to 6 minutes.

Step 2Stir in carrots and sauté for two or three minutes. Add the low sodium chicken broth. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat and simmer for about 25 minutes.

Step 3Use immersion blender to purée the soup until smooth. Stir in the optional half-and-half salt and pepper and honey.
