This soup is a combination of fruit and vegies and it can be made with canned pumpkin or use raw pumpkin cooked and mashed.but the canned is very good and less fuss.

Ingredients
- 2 medium onion s chopped
- 2 tablespoons butt
- 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 2 cups peeled and chopped potatoes
- 2 - apples, peeled and rough chopped
- 1 can 15oz solid packed pumpkin
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
- 4 slices side bacon fried crisp and crumbled

Step 1In large saucepan fry onion in butter until tender add the broth and potatoes, apples and pumpkin and cook until potatoes are tender about 15 to 20 minutes.Remove and cool slightly...Puree and return to pot and add the ginger and simmer another 5 minutes.

Step 2In small bowl, combine the sour cream and parsley..Spoon soup into bowls and top with dollop of sour cream and sprinkle with crisp bacon.
