Cream Of Vegetable Soup
You can use whatever vegetables you like, I just like the sweetness of the carrots with the broccoli and cauliflower.
4 c4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
1 cwhipping cream
1 Tbspdried basil
1/2 tspgarlic powder
5 cvegetables (broccoli, carrots and cauliflower), cooked
How to Make Cream Of Vegetable Soup
- In large kettle, saute onion in butter until tender.
Add flour; cook and stir until bubbly.
Enjoy with a nice crusty piece of bread.
Gradually add chicken broth; cook and stir until thickened, about 5 minutes.
Whisk in the milk, cream, basil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Add cooked vegetables. Cook gently until heated through. Do not boil.
