heavy cream

How to Make Cream of Spinach Soup


  • 1Saute the onion in butter until tender, and add flour. Cook about 2 minutes.
  • 2Add the milk, white pepper, and salt. Bring to a simmer.
  • 3Add the spinach and cook.
  • 4Add the nutmeg and chicken base.
  • 5Add the heavy cream to final product.
