cream of spinach soup

I was very sick back in the late 70's with stomach problems, I couldn't eat much at the time..and a friend of mine made this soup for me. It was so wonderful, I had to have the recipe. I have been making it ever since.

Ingredients
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup celery, chopped
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1 - 10 ounce pkg. of frozen chopped spinach**see below
- 4 - chicken boullion cubes
- 4 1/2 cups milk
- - salt & pepper
How To Make cream of spinach soup

Step 1Melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and celery and saute 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in flour, mix well. Add remaining ingredients, mix well. Cook over med-low heat stirring frequently for 20 to 25 minutes or until soup has thickened. Salt and pepper to taste.

Step 2**Rinse spinach with water water to thaw, drain before putting into soup mixture
