1 pkg. betty crocker creamed potatoes
2 1/2 cups water
2 cups milk
2 t. chopped fresh onion
1 t. margarine
1 t. salt
1/8 t. pepper

How to Make Cream of Potato Soup


  • 1In large pan, heat potato slices, sauce mix and water to boiling. Stir occasionally. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer about 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
  • 2. Stir in remaining ingredients. Heat through.
    Variation: Shrimp Potato Soup: Stir in 1 cup broken shrimp, rinsed and drained with the milk.
    Serves 6
