Ingredients

  • - 1 pkg. betty crocker creamed potatoes
  • - 2 1/2 cups water
  • - 2 cups milk
  • - 2 t. chopped fresh onion
  • - 1 t. margarine
  • - 1 t. salt
  • - 1/8 t. pepper

How To Make cream of potato soup

  • Step 1
    In large pan, heat potato slices, sauce mix and water to boiling. Stir occasionally. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer about 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
  • Step 2
    . Stir in remaining ingredients. Heat through. Variation: Shrimp Potato Soup: Stir in 1 cup broken shrimp, rinsed and drained with the milk. Serves 6
