came across this one time and thought it sounded was,enough so that in the tea room where i once was employed we served it as part of a special tea we were having.

    chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp
    dried thyme
  • 1
    bay leaf
  • 1/8 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 11/2 c
  • 1-2 c
    shredded cheddar
  • ·
    parsley,salt and pepper

How to Make cream of carrot-cheddar soup


  1. saute onions in oleo.
  2. add and simmer til vegs are tender: carrots,potatoes,chicken broth,thyme,bay leaf,tabasco.w/sauce,sugar and salt and pepper to taste.
  3. add,stirring til cheese is melted the milk and cheese.
  4. discard bay leaf and sprinkle with parsley
