    onion, minced
  • 1 c
    water
  • 2
    beef bouillon cubes
  • 6 oz
    tomato paste
  • 1 tsp
    oregano
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • pinch
    salt

How to Make Chickpea Soup

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan; heat to boiling.
  2. Cover and simmer 1 hour; adjust salt.
  3. Serve with a crusty bread and salad.
  4. This freezes well.
