I found this recipe when we lived at Fort Hood Texas. One of the ladies I worked with gave it to me and I applied my own taste to it.

Ingredients
- 4 large potatoes, cubed
- 1 medium onions, cubed
- 3 tablespoons margarine
- - enough water to cover ingredients
- 1 pound velvetta cheese
- - jalepeno peppers to taste
How To Make cheese potato soup

Step 1Melt margarine in soup pan.

Step 2Add cubed onion and saute

Step 3Add cubed potatoes

Step 4Add enough water to cover potatoes

Step 5Cook about 20 minutes or until potatoes are done.

Step 6Add cheese and peppers. When cheese has melted cook until thickness desired is reached.
