Ingredients
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 small cabbage, chopped up (about 10 cups
- 1 - onion, chopped (i added more)
- 1/2 pound kielbasa, fully cooked, sliced lengthwise then sliced
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (i used garlic salt in the pepper mill, and added more)
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper (i omitted)
- 1 cup milk
How To Make cabbage sausage soup

Step 1In stockpot, bring broth, cabbage and onion to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 10-15 minutes or until cabbage is tender. Add kielbasa (you could also use smoked sausage, but I prefer kielbasa). Heat through. Add flour, salt and pepper to a bowl, then gradually stir in the milk and when smooth, add to soup. Bring to boil, stirring, and boil a few minutes to thicken.
