I love cabbage soup. I love kielbasa. This combines both, and is super easy to make. This was originally in a magazine from 2002, but I altered it to my taste...

Ingredients For cabbage sausage soup

4 cchicken broth

1 smcabbage, chopped up (about 10 cups

1onion, chopped (i added more)

1/2 lbkielbasa, fully cooked, sliced lengthwise then sliced

1/2 cflour

1/2 tspsalt (i used garlic salt in the pepper mill, and added more)

1/4 tsppepper (i omitted)

1 cmilk
How To Make cabbage sausage soup

1In stockpot, bring broth, cabbage and onion to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 10-15 minutes or until cabbage is tender. Add kielbasa (you could also use smoked sausage, but I prefer kielbasa). Heat through. Add flour, salt and pepper to a bowl, then gradually stir in the milk and when smooth, add to soup. Bring to boil, stirring, and boil a few minutes to thicken.
