Ingredients
- 2 pounds cabbage head
- 2 cans diced pettie tomatoes
- 1 small onions, small white
- 1 small corn kernels, frozen
- 1 small okra,frozen
- 1/2 pound thick,bacon
- - salt and pepper for taste
How To Make cabbage gumbo

Step 1Cut Bacon, cabbage,and onion into bit size pieces. Cook until crisped. save bacon drippings.

Step 2While the bacon is cooking combined cabbage and onion in a large pot.

Step 3Add tomatoes, corn, and orka. On top of Cabbage and onion. DO NOT DRAIN TOMATOES.Juice goes in the pot too.

Step 4After bacon has cooked add to the pot with the drippings.

Step 5Place a lid on it and let cook on med for 15min make sure you stir the pot. If you dont it will burn.

Step 6After 15 min turn down to low. Simmer until doneness of cabbage you like. Remember to stir the pot. (about another 20 min)

Step 7Serve with Cornbread
