  • 2 lb
    bag frozen broccolli flowerettes
  • 1/2 lb
    smoked sausage
  • 1 medium
    yellow onion,chopped fine
  • 1
    stalk celery,chopped fine
  • 1 can(s)
    beef broth, reduced sodium
  • 1 can(s)
    [fill broth can] milk
  • 1 pinch

How to Make broccolli soup


  1. put beef broth in med/lg sauce pan bring to boil... reduce heat... add broccolli.... cook 5-10 minutes.. add celery and onion cook 10 minutes more
  2. let cool some... pour into food processor.... blend til smooth... while doing broccolli... add smoked sausage to pan cook and brown over med high close do not burn...
  3. return broccolli mix to pan add milk heat til hot... add what ever spices you like... i like garlic added to this soup... serve it with garlic toast
