broccoli/asparagus soup

I HAD STUFF IN FRIDGE THAT JUS HAD TO BE USED......SOME FRESH SOME LEFTOVERS.... CAME UP WITH THIS SOUP TASTED GREAT

Ingredients

  • 1 large leftover b'b'qued rib
  • 1/2 package [16 oz bag] frozen broccoli cooked
  • 1/4 cup soft tub margarine
  • 1 pound fresh asparagus
  • 1 large onion
  • 5-6 medium little smokies links
  • 1/2 jar [16 0z] cheese whiz
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried celery leaves
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • - salt and pepper ,to taste

How To Make broccoli/asparagus soup

  • Step 1
    remove meat from rib put in food processor grind/paulse til it becomes small pieces put in bowl sit aside
  • Step 2
    now put broccoli in food processor paulse til very fine put in bowl set aside
  • Step 3
    dow same for asparagus set aside now do onion have it chopped extra fine now put soft margarine into soup pan add onions cook and stir til they start to carmenize....add broccoli stir well into onions........ now add ribs stir well...add asparagus mix well
  • Step 4
    once all is hot turn temp to med low cook and stir several min add spices and milk now cook til soup reduces to thickness u like 20 min or so add cheese whiz and sour cream cook til all melted
  • Step 5
    now take little smokies and nuke in microwave til hot[bout 30 sec] laddle soup into bowls and drop a few smokies on top of each bowl[depends on how many servin and how many smokies leftover]noe ENJOY!!!!!
