So delicious I got this from a former coworker and I have revised somewhat

Ingredients

  • 1 lb package black-eyed peas dried
  • 1 lg can rotel tomatoes, original
  • 1/2 large onion, diced
  • 2-3 small jalapenos, chopped
  • 1 1/2 pounds polish kielbasa
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • to taste pinch salt and pepper

How To Make black-eyed pea stew

  • Step 1
    Wash peas add to pot and cover with water boil till almost tender
  • Step 2
    add all ingredients (except rotel)cook till tender
  • Step 3
    Add rotel and simmer for 10 minutes serve with cornbread
