  • 1 lb pkg
    black-eyed peas dried
  • 1 lg can(s)
    rotel tomatoes, original
  • 1/2 large
    onion, diced
  • 2-3 small
    jalapenos, chopped
  • 1 1/2 lb
    polish kielbasa
  • 2 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • to taste pinch
    salt and pepper

How to Make Black-eyed pea Stew


  1. Wash peas add to pot and cover with water boil till almost tender
  2. add all ingredients (except rotel)cook till tender
  3. Add rotel and simmer for 10 minutes serve with cornbread
