1 lb pkg
black-eyed peas dried
1 lg can(s)
rotel tomatoes, original
1/2 large
onion, diced
2-3 small
jalapenos, chopped
1 1/2 lb
polish kielbasa
2 Tbsp
chili powder
to taste pinch
salt and pepper

How to Make Black-eyed pea Stew


  • 1Wash peas add to pot and cover with water boil till almost tender
  • 2add all ingredients (except rotel)cook till tender
  • 3Add rotel and simmer for 10 minutes serve with cornbread
