Ingredients
- 2 cans black eyed peas, undrained
- 2 cans rotel tomatoes, undrained
- 1 pound hamburger meat, browned and drained
- 1 package frozen seasoned mix (picsweet)
- 3 tablespoons margarine
- 16 ounces frozen vegetable gumbo mix
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons louisiana hot sauce
- 1 can chicken broth
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make black eyed pea gumbo

Step 1Saute the picsweet mix in margarine until tender. Add garlic, salt, pepper, and hot sauce.

Step 2Stir in browned hamburger meat.

Step 3Add chicken broth and tomatoes.

Step 4Add gumbo mix and stir until all is mixted well.

Step 5Add rotel tomatoes and black eyed peas. Stir well and cook until bubbling. Serve over hot cooked rice.
