6 slice
bacon
1 small
onion, chopped
4 c
potatoes, diced
1 small
container sour cream
1 lb
velveeta

How to Make Bev's Cheese Soup

Step-by-Step

  • 1Fry bacon until crisp. Remove from pan and drain. Cook chopped onion in bacon grease until wilted.
  • 2Add diced potatoes to pan with onions and add water to pan until just covers potatoes. Bring to a boil and cook until potatoes are tender (about 10 mins). Do not drain off water.
  • 3Lower to medium heat and add container of sour cream and mix to blend. Cube Velveeta cheese and add to soup mixture stirring until melted.
  • 4Crumble bacon into soup and serve.
