I make lots of soup and usually make extra since I have a mess to clean up I may as well cook extra and freeze the soup to have on a sandwich and soup dinner night.

Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon , diced
- 2 medium carrots, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, diced
- 2 cloves garlic , finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil[or 1 tbsp dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 can 28 ounce stewed tomatoes
- 1 can 540ml romano beans rinsed and drained
- 5 cups chicken stock
- 2 cups bow tie pasta or pasta of your choice
- 1 cup finely grated parmesan cheese
- 1 large onion diced
How To Make bean and pasta soup

Step 1In large saucepan saute bacon over medium heat, cook for 8 to 10 minutes nearly crisp, add vegetables, garlic and herbs.

Step 2Pour tomatoes into a bowl and break up tomatoes into smaller pieces,,add tomatoes to saucepan, the beans which have been rinsed and drained and add the chicken stock, simmer add salt and pepper

Step 3Add pasta to saucepan and cook until done to your liking about 10 minutes....serve with parmesan cheesesprinkled over top.
