I got this recipe from my son's 6th grade teacher, Mrs. Hansen.

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 7 cups milk
  • 4 large baked potatoes, cooked, cubed
  • 1 1/4 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 12 - strips bacon, cooked, crumbled
  • - salt and pepper
  • 1 cup sour cream

How To Make baked potato soup

  • Step 1
    Melt butter in soup pot. Stir in flour until crumbly. Add milk, stirring constantly. Simmer 10 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Add remaining ingredients, stirring until cheese is melted. At this time, you can transfer soup to a crock pot to keep warm and serve.
