Asparagus Soup

Ingredients

1-1 1/2 lbfresh aspargus
-
1 lbground chuck
-
1medium onion chopped
-
1 can(s)beef broth, reduced sodium
-
1large bay leaf
-
1 can(s)water
-
1-16oz. can(s)stewed tomatoes
-
1-12oz. can(s)tomato juice
-
2 Tbspbeef boullion
-
1/2 tspthyme, dried
-
1/2 tspmarjoram, dried
-
·slat and peper to taste
How to Make Asparagus Soup
- Brown meat and onion in skillet. Drain any grease.
- In a cooking pot add all ingredients except for the asparagus and cook for 1/2 hour on medium to low heat (do not boil)
- Wash and cut up the asparagus into bite size pieces.
- After 1/2 hour is up add the aparagus to the pot and continue to cook for another 1/2 hour or until vegetable is done.
