Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    turkey, ground
  • 1 small
    onion (diced )
  • 1 clove
    garlic (roasted)
  • 2 c
    squash (cubed)
  • 2 c
    peas (i used frozen)
  • 2 medium
    carrots (diced)
  • 2 c
    corn (i used frozen )
  • 4 c
    chicken stock
  • 1 tsp
    sage
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 2 c
    rice (cooked)

How to Make Turkey Rice Vegtable Soup

Step-by-Step

  1. In a sauté pan brown turkey onion and all spices. In 350 oven roast garlic balb till brown about 15 to 20 minutes.
  2. In slow cooker or crock pot add all other ingredients except rice.
  3. Add turkey when done cook on high 4 hours turn to low add cooked rice cook another 30 minutes serve.
