turkey or chicken broth
potatoes, peeled and cubed

carrots, chopped
1 c
zucchini, sliced
1/2 c
apple juice, unsweetened
3 c
turkey, cooked and chopped

How to Make Turkey Chowder


  • 1Saute the onion and celery in the margarine.
  • 2Add the flour, salt, pepper and thyme.
  • 3Gradually add the broth.
  • 4Add the potatoes and carrots.
  • 5Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.
  • 6Add the zucchini, apple juice, and turkey.
  • 7Continue cooking over low heat for 10 minutes.
